A quick tour of the town...a wasted wait at Miss BoBo's Boarding House led us to lunch at the local BBQ place...pretty darn good...then we were back in the car headed to Franklin. We wanted to see the battle field and the homes there that were caught in the crossfire.

We stopped at the bottle shop...we got a special one engraved to bring home ...but I think you can guess which one Floyd really wanted...and picked up the brochure about their purchase a barrel program. Floyd thinks it sounds like a better investment than the stock market...if only we live that long!!!!LOL

Floyd and Jack...on the rocks...just a little whiskey humor....

It was like a visit to Mecca for Floyd....he and Jack Daniels have been good friends for a vvveeerrrryyy long time...we assured Shauana (our tour guide) that she had no worries and we were sure to keep paying her salary...LOL... lovely setting and a real treat to visit the facility. We worried about how all that would work considering they are a dry dry county....but seems that the distillery has some special provisions provided by the Tennessee legislature...wonder how that happened?
We"ve been working hard to get things all bright and shiny...running smooth, etc...so decided to take a break and visit Lynchburg (Home of Jack Daniels distillery) and Franklin (Civil War homes and battle site). Great decision...

Dinghy cleaned up nicely...amazing what googling "clean the dinghy" can turn up. Been working this afternoon on the ice maker...seems to be happening.  So we'll have to start using more ice!!!!
