We spent Friday checking things out...This is the largest marina on Lake Michigan so it was a trip....laundry and shower facilities here, then a taxi ride to West Marine, liquor store and Jewel grocery store...later that evening we checked out the free shuttle that runs only Fri and Sat nights...visited a couple of local restaurants. Floyd will be here for a while without wheels and proper supervision (ME)...so he feels now like he knows the lay of the land and made the right choice with this marina. We are headed to Racine tomorrow to meet up with folks we met in Kentucky at Green Turtle Bay...our first week of LOOPING. Weather is suppose to be gorgeous!!!!
