We are safe and sound in slip number 60 at Lamb's Yacht Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Plans are to spend this week cleaning the inside and finishing our projects in preparation for leaving on Friday. We're in a covered dock so we won't have near the work of clearing the decks as we had in Demopolis. Birds are everywhere...we feel like we are filming a sequel to Hitchcock's film. They tell us that they are migratory and will be gone soon. Man,oh, man, they made a lot of racket as the sun set last night. They have continued to squawk today...we finally turned on the air conditioner. I'll take some photos and post them later...til then...next week this time we'll be in Wichita...could you warm it up for us?????

Wow!!! What a coincidence. Rocket boosters that you could have been watching are traveling back up to Cape Canaveral. How fun is that. LB says that whoever planned your trip are right on schedule and knew exactly what they were doing! The Captain must have had a hand in that one. Great pictures of the lighthouse. Loved the mobil gas station. What a hoot. Wind is blowing a gale here and the low tomorrow night is suppose to be 21. BURRRRR!!!! Better bring the warm weather with you. See ya in 10 days or so. Love ya LB and bb

Great pic of the stadium. Enjoy your 'down' time and get that cleaning done! Tell Mrs. Bricker HI for me and Jamie when you see her at the shower. She was Jamie's 4th and 5th grade teacher (and we loved Mrs. Bricker).
