Mackinaw Island is a lovely little place...no cars allowed. The place was packed with tourists...walking, bicycling, riding horses, in horse-drawn carriages...restaurants, t-shirt shops, knik-knack shops, bike rental places...children, dogs, grandparents...it was amazing to see...We spent our time on a carriage tour visiting the fort and the round rock look out...getting gorgeous views of the marina and Lake Michigan. We were tired puppies when we got back to the boat...good thing there was left over pizza!!!!
