We spent a warm afternoon exploring an old lighthouse and fort in Mackinaw City...saw the bridge from shore. It is quite a sight to see...the longest in the USA. They have quite a few tours to see it but we figured we'd get our best view from underneath as we enter Lake Michigan. We passed a great smelling pizza place that advertised delivery to the marina...so took advantage of that for our evening meal. It was good...but not Pizza Hut. I think these last two posts are out of order...we spent the 5th exploring Mackinaw City and ordering pizza...on the 6th we took the ferry to Mackinaw Island.
