After supper the first night, it was time to introduce the GOLD LOOPERS. That's us...folks who have completed one loop. Floyd somehow managed to make a name for us...first he convinced them we were from the boating capitol of the nation..that it was none of their business what we'd been doing since completing the loop 5 weeks ago...and that we were the harbor hosts for those who were brave enough to travel up the Arkansas River. Ever the class clown, he had them laughing. During the rest of the conference, people would start conversations by commenting about his introductory comments. He is a keeper!
