Left Fort Walton at 0-dark-thirty....water was choppy but smoothed out...we spent most of the day in the ditch between Choctawhatchee and West Bay. We will anchor out tonight...already seen a couple of dolphins in our little cove...and head on to Carrabelle tomorrow. We are not in the Gulf...following the ICW...so lakes and ditches. Haven't seen much boat traffic...maybe it is too cold for the natives. I'm wearing long johns...and convinced Floyd to drive from the lower helm most of today. I am ready for warmer weather...I think Wichita has been warmer than us lately. Just our luck. TGIF...it is Mexican Friday...
