Saugatuck ( pronounced SAW-ga-tuck)...yes, we've been saying it wrong. It is another in the string of safe harbor towns located every 20 miles down the east side of Lake Michigan. We didn't need the guide book to tell us about the "little houses" or the chain operated ferry. They are sorta noticeable...even when you are swatting those biting flies!!!!
