Just around the corner from the Lock and Dam was Fort Loudoun Marina...a place we would call home off and on for the next couple of weeks. Slip rental was cheap, courtesy car is available, two restaurants and laundry on site, cheap gas... but most important is the location. We can slip over to Tellico Lake to anchor then back here before heading on to Knoxville...and it is just two days from Knoxville (or one long day). We came into our slip facing a yellow car..always a good deal...and one of the first folks we met was wearing a KU shirt....imagine that!!! Perfect end to June 3rd! (remember I'm just a litlle behind)
