At 11 on Monday, the travel lift finally went silent....and at 11:01 the rains began. It rained all day. We made a quick trip to Winn-Dixie, the local hardware store, and Walgrens....then napping and planning. We ended our day at Master Joes Sushi bar.....and one last visit to Mr Gene's Beans for ice cream. Next stop Lucy Buffets for lunch and on to Orange Beach. Still no word on the depth sounder cable...but we've lived without it for so long, we don't really miss it. It certainly should not be holding up our travel plans.
