Captain Floyd was right on the money today!! Weather was looking wicked as rains blew in overnight...he saw the window and took it....left Egg Harbor at 9:30ish in light drizzle and light winds...kicked up the speed a little to go 7 miles to Fish Creek....arrived as winds were picking up and just before the monsoon hit! The place looks lovely and we've been alerted to the donuts and a few shopping places...but we won't be playing tourist today....we're here for three days so counting on the weather to improve...stay tuned to see how that works. Til then, Floyd is basking in the glow of making the right call!!! Actually, we are ALL happy about that!
