We made it safe and sound to St Petersburg...lovely day on intercoastal waterway surrounded by condos, houses, hi-rises, and hotels...not much nature left along that route. We stayed at the St Petersburg Municipal Marina and rode our bikes down the Pier. The "Bounty" is parked there. Even though it was closed, we got a good look. I kept thinking this all looks so familiar...last paragraph on last sign mentioned that Warner Bros had also used it in making "Pirates of the Caribbean"....oh, yea, Johnny Depp was at the wheel....how could I have forgotten???? Late last night our buddies on the Sojourner arrived. We had a really nice visit comparing experiences from Green Turtle to St Pete's.
