Marina folks are such interesting characters...they seem to know what they are doing, promise that they will accomplish the task, even start it...yet here we are two weeks later...no tasks finished...I left early to spend a lovely day in Fredericksburg with my college friend Kathy Clark yesterday. When I returned to the TUMBLEWEED, it was in total disarray...tools, shavings, wires, outlets, shelves cleared...seems as though they were working on the electrical outlets. Around five, when we hadn't seen anyone for hours, Floyd went to see what was happening...yep, you guessed it. Another boat, another issue...we were left to deal with the mess. Not a real problem until we went to microwave our supper and there was no power!!! Cold nachos!!! and we were in a tissy...All those things Floyd requested in December, had asked to be done before we got here, and here we sit two weeks later. We had hoped to be enjoying Chesapeake Bay by now...we've not left the slip. FRUSTRATING. And it is not like you can pack up your stuff and go somewhere else. Over a barrel...but we do have the cash...and money talks...so there was a discussion at 8:15 am...promises made...again...we can only hope that this time things will be different. Isn't that the definition of insanity...doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results???? Okay...you knew we were crazy!!!!
