Pulled into Ludington on Saturday thinking we'd be here just a couple of days...and now it's Wednesday. Weather predicters keep teasing us ...predicting a wind shift and calmer waves in the evening. But by morning, they've changed their minds. Thursday, Friday and Saturday are looking really good...and once we get to Chicago (3 travel days) we won't have to worry so much about wind direction and waves...6 days on the river to St Charles to finish our second Great American Loop. I'm afraid once we do start moving, we'll be unstoppable. So it's another day of watching the BADGER ferry people to and from Michigan /Wisconsin.

Oh, those home style haircuts that were on the list still haven't happened...too cold to be sitting in a t shirt while someone figures out the clippers.

In the meantime, we've managed to generate some laundry...and find new books to read. And there's always someone who wants to play "squeaky ball". Bundle up! Baby, it's cold outside!!
