Volunteer Landing in Knoxville is the most expensive place we've stopped on this trip...we were in a slip that was just a couple of feet too short....at $2 a foot and no water...and with the heat and hardship we encountered trying to see a few sights...we decided we didn't need to stay here more than one night... a short hike up the hill to Ruth's Chris for happy hour specials...we watched Union Rags win the Belmont...then back to our aft deck to enjoy the live music provided at the marina...well, I wouldn't exactly say enjoy...but they were live. People watching at its best....
