On a plus note, the fella who is days in front of us heading south reported that he made it all the way from Kaskaskia lock to Paducah in one long day...push from current on the Mississippi gave him speed and saved fuel...just what we wanted to hear!

Oh, and Laurie made it to Wisconsin...last we talked she was on stand by for a 1015PM flight that would put her close to the path her family was using to drive....haven’t heard the story...but have seen FB postings of her enjoying family time there...it’s all good!
