Wednesday in Muskegon....we have somehow landed in internet hell. This city marina has undergone a management change and evidently is in a war with developers over marina space. The condo developers want the marina and while the city doesn’t seem eager to sell out ...they aren’t doing due diligence on maintaining the place. We’ve met several disgruntled slip renters....so we’re doing what we planned and moving on quickly.

Rains came as predicted last night...and Dakota and I slept in this morning...felt soooo good!

Floyd wanted to tour  the USS LST 393....Landing Ship Tank used during D-day....so after rains quit  ...off he went....and a grand tour it was! See photos below...He crawled all over and says he saw it all. Prefers his captain quarters to theirs.

Dakota supervised my cleaning and organizing efforts....everyone is happy. Particularly the Captain. I stumbled across some items that will help as we navigate the river systems...and even managed to locate the missing hatch plate/name label ....been MIA since we arrived!! I also managed to get us into Grand Haven on Friday and Saturday...and made final arrangements for Saugatuck. Not planning much beyond that as we aren’t sure how that battery replacement will work. We’re thinking it’s a half day job....but who knows what it will turn into. Stay tuned!
