So we arrived in Muskegon...and what a trip it was! The temp was a lovely 68...clear skies and sunshine. Water temp is only 52.... and we were headed into an 8 mph wind at 8 mph. Once again in our long sleeves, sweaters and winter gear...we even considered starting the generator so we could run the heater. Floyd was really wishing we’d removed the outer canvas so he could use the lower helm station. Dakota and I cuddled under a blanket on the sofa below.  Seven hours....And then we arrived....temp in here was 85....and no breeze. We were shedding clothing and turning on the AC.

I probably needed to have checked marina possibilities more closely. This is beyond character. Teenagers are in charge....high water floods the drive and parking areas...no internet...no WiFi....no real grounds...and we are in the heart of the Muskegon ghetto. They lock us in at night. But we’re close to some LST ( landing ship tank) ship Floyd wants to see....so he’ll do that and then we’ll move on. Til then we are in cyber hell....
