Gotta love the way things work...they talked us out of traveling in the ocean. So we plotted, planned and prepared to go inside on the crappy New Jersey ICW from Cape May to Atlantic City. Then when we poke our heads out this morning to start precedurers for leaving the slip...they are pulling out! WTF....where are they going?? Oh, we looked at weather this morning...and you were right...we are headed outside!! Really! And you were gonna tell us...when?? Really!!  Phone call to ZENDO and we followed our Plan A...outside to Atlantic City. Exactly like Captain Floyd had predicted. Swells weren't too bad...and rain showers stopped just as we docked...Farley State Marina is truly one of the most expensive marinas we've ever stayed in ...$4.00 a foot....It is attached to the Golden Nugget...use to be Trump Tower. So we are truly where the weekend action is....too bad we are exhausted, non gambling boaters.....grabbed a great burger and found a place to cheer for American Pharoh as he won the Belmont/Triple Crown. Spent time chatting with TOMFOOLERY and BAMA DREAM....FIELD TRIP and IRISH LADY TOO.
Plan for tomorrow is more of the same...weather and wind should mirror today...well, except the rain should be replaced with sunshine! Yeah! Another fifty miles north to Manasquan ...some are leaving at 5:30 AM....some at 6:00... We pick 7:00.... Love that Captain!
