Thursday...june 4... We are still here....weather just won't cooperate enough to allow us to get to Cape May....and even if we got there, we'd have no place to stay. Marinas there are backed up with folks who can't get out to go north to NYC. So...here we sit!. Even more depressing is the fact that we got up early Tuesday and were ready to leave...but NO....last minute forecast was totally different. In desperation to lift our spirits, we went out to  breakfast this morning....local favorite Cordilla's Bakery...along with the usual fair of eggs, toast and sausage...we also tried scrapple and the homemade potato cakes. Interesting....though think we were better off not knowing what was in that scrapple.??? On another bright note, SaSeaSally is catching up with us tonight! They plan to head into Philly tomorrow...and we hope we are gone from here before they return in a couple of days! Keeping our fingers crossed!

Tim and Rhonda rented a car ..so we did venture into New Castle for groceries and pizza last night. Ever so grateful they included us!!  They too are beyond frustrated..seems she is selling a house and paperwork is needing to be signed, notorized and returned...and has been waiting for them in Cape May....so real purpose of rental car was so they could drive there today and process all that.

Weather briefings at 5 every evening have been downers!! Hoping tonight's is full of promise and holds true! We'd much rather be sitting in NYC...four days travel by boat...and we need good weather as we'll have to "go outside"....stay tuned!
