Gene arrived safe and sound and..... wonder of wonders...ON TIME. We rode the Metro and walked back to the boat. Then we walked over to visit the Jefferson Memorial. That's were I found those new jigsaw puzzles...life is sooooo good. Mexican food to celebrate Cinco de Mayo...and we considered an evening walking tour of the Mall but decided to wait til tomorrow...don't want Gene to get too exhausted on the first day.
