An uneventful day in the Bay...went all the way to Oxford MD. Trailing winds and following tides made the ride a bit uncomfortable but we were thrilled to have all steering systems working. Arrived just in time for thundershowers....and then discovered the bar and restaurant next door to us is closed on Wednesdays. Just our luck! We'll do a walking tour of Oxford this morning (temp is in the 50s) before departing for Annapolis. It is a just 4 hour run and Bob told us about the short cut through St Micheal's ...it involves a drawbridge...and the captain is ooooohhh soooo excited that we'll be able to anchor in the mooring field...something we've not done before. Should be interesting!!!

What is a mooring field? Sounds like things are finally on the smooth "sailing" end... We have been having violent storms the past few evenings. Some damage around the neighborhood... but all is well at "Almosta Ranch". Give the Captain a hug from Kansas and have him return one to you.... Have fun in Annapolis! bb
